We have critical challenges in the North Beach School District, including:

• raising enrollment and attendance

• supporting classroom teachers and their professional development

• improving academic outcomes, especially in English, Math, and Science

• rebuilding the school district's financial reserves and practicing good fiscal discipline

• planning, funding, and completing solutions to the district's long-term capital facility and seismic safety needs

• providing a culturally-appropriate curriculum and programs for all our students, including those from tribal communities

• building a learning environment that is safe, healthy, and free of bullying and harassment.
